Carvacrol, from Oil of Oregano, is a natural phenol that contains powerful anti-microbial activity.
Flavonoids provide natural antiseptic properties, and Terpenes (long chain hydrocarbons)
are natural anti-inflammatory agents.

Jean Valnet, in his book The "Practice of Aromatherapy", describes how oregano essential oil
superseded anti-inflammatory drugs in reversing pain and inflammation and is nearly as powerful as morphine as a painkiller.

anti-microbial, and an anti-tissue agent, meaning it halts coughs and eases spasticity of the lung tubules.

Oregano essential oil has also been used as a mucolytic, (it helps thin mobilized mucous),

There are no known side effects when used as advised,
and Oil of Oregano is compatible with any other natural remedy
or prescription drug.

Our formula is a 50% dilution with M.C.T oil and is pretty strong, but should you ever happen
to purchase a 100% essential oil of oregano, from some other source, please make sure that
you dilute it at least by 50% before using. Extra Virgin Olive Oil can be used as a diluting agent
(a.k.a. "carrier oil") but should be mixed in small batches as the EVOO can go rancid over time.
